ILLINOIS ATTORNEY GENERAL FILES AS LEAD COUNSEL AGAINST CLINTON LANDFILL

Illinois Attorney General filed September 3, 2014 as lead counsel for the IEPA, one day before the Illinois Pollution Control Board scheduled Hearing to decide the fate of a filling by Clinton Landfill that is owned by the Coulter family a Peoria based waste company. The coulter family is wanting to store hazardous waste at its Clinton facility after losing its HAZARDOUS Waste facility expansion in Peoria. IEPA the state agency responsible for permitting hazardous waste disposal has modified Clinton Landfills permit to not allow two types of hazardous waste PCBs and MGP.  Illinois Attorney General will defend the agency in this case before the Board.
